Join Gradey Proctor for a day in the forest exploring the world of mushrooms! We'll spend the first half of our outing discussing the ecological functions of fungi, learning useful identification tips, and delving into how to locate the right ecology for a successful hunt. On top of that, we'll cover some identification traits of the major groups of Oregon mushrooms. Then we’ll roam the hillsides seeking out edible and medicinal delights. If the weather works in our favor, we’ll have some tasty treats to bring home too!

All are welcome in this off-trail adventure. This class will happen rain or shine. Cost is $60, sliding scale available.  Registration required by October 12th.
