Invasive: The Stories of Non-Native Plants

Participants on this hike will be exploring what we can learn from non-native plants about how best to behave in our adopted homes. We will consider how non-native plants overtake, assimilate, or support their kin.

Prior to the hike folks will be reading “In the Footsteps of Nanabozho: Becoming Indigenous to Place” from Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer.

This day long hike with Gradey is part of the Signal Fire series, Reading in Place. Check out Signal Fire to learn more about this awesome series of hikes!
