Register for the Herbal Immersion Program!

***** MARCH 2020 NOTE: We have revised the dates for this course to start 4 weeks later than planned. The dates on the course description reflect this change. We definitely intend to teach this program this year — we need herbalists now more than ever! Because of the delayed start date, we are still accepting applicants for 2020. *****

The Arctos School’s Herbal Immersion Program is an invitation to those who want to steep themselves in the magic and medicine of plants and place.  In this life-shifting 240-hour course, our time is split between the forest, kitchen, garden, farm, and classroom as we gain hands-on experience and develop practical herbal healing skills to last a lifetime. The course provides a thorough foundation in herbal materia medica, botanical identification, plant energetics, and medicine-making in a participatory, empowering setting.

The Herbal Immersion Program “has helped me solidify my foundational knowledge of herbalism, gave me confidence in botanical identification and wildcrafting skills, deepened my love for plants and ecology, and solidified my desire to employ my personal practice of herbalism as part of my own work for social justice….
“Getting to see and experience [Missy’s and Gradey’s] passion has been one of the most impactful and inspiring parts of the program for me — it’s infectious! It is clear that their connection to the land and the plants is founded on a strong and lasting relationship, countless hours of study and exploration, and a deep love for the Earth.”
