Working with Roots - A Fundraiser for Snack Bloc

Join Gradey for an online class to explore the underground world of the plant, the root. As colder weather approaches, perennial plants send their energy deep into the ground. This creates an opportunity for us to dig and divide plants — either to grow more plants on the land or to make plant medicine, or both!  We will explore 5 or 6 medicinal plants, going through their use as medicine, the botany of underground structures, proper ways to dig, and how to work with roots while our plants continue to thrive.

This class will utilize the Zoom platform. To prepare, you can download the free Zoom app. If you’re new to Zoom, you may want to check out their support and training resources beforehand in order to ensure a smooth experience.

Class cost is $20. Half of all proceeds will go directly to Snack Bloc, a community resource and support for rallies, protests, community events, vigils, and more! Start time is 4pm Pacific time. To receive the link to the class, participants must register before 1pm Pacific time.
