Nourishing Spring Practices

  • The Arctos School of Herbal and Botanical Studies Portland, OR (map)

Clary Sage Herbarium is excited to welcome Missy, whose expertise makes working with herbs accessible and intuitive, with a focus on how to easily incorporate them into meals and daily routines.

Finally, it’s time for the green to return in full force! Missy will delve into the ways we can support our bodies through this seasonal transition, focusing on herbal food and infusions as a foundation for vitality. We’ll explore nutrient-dense edibles like nettles, chickweed, and violet, along with sustainable foraging techniques and practical ways to prepare these plants as everyday nourishment. From mineral-rich infusions and broths to simple, delicious ways to add herbs to meals, this session will provide tangible ways to bring more plant-based nourishment into your routine. Whether you’re looking to refresh your diet with seasonal greens or deepen your connection with the plants around you, this class will offer insights to carry into the months ahead.

Class will be held at Clary Sage Herbarium on NE Alberta. Workshop cost is $45-$35, sliding scale, payable at the door. Registration through Clary Sage is required.
