At first glance, the plant world may seem unremarkable in January -- but take a closer look! Join Missy for a stroll on gorgeous Mt. Tabor to see some of our area's most useful and resilient medicinal and edible plants. We'll pay special attention to trees and shrubs, both native and introduced -- how to identify them, when to use them, and how to prepare them.
No registration is necessary for this free plant walk.
Dress for the weather! Trails may be slippery depending on weather conditions. We will meet rain or shine. (If snow or ice foils our plans, we'll notify folks via our meetup and facebook pages.)
We'll meet in front of Reservoir 5, at the top of the stairs overlooking Reservoir 6, very close to the intersection of SE Reservoir Loop Road and SE Salmon Way. Give yourself extra time to park and walk to our meeting spot!
