Though the winter chill is still in the air, many plants are emerging — some even blooming! — and it is always a good time to meet them. Join Gradey for a casual stroll through the park discussing plant identification, medicinal and food uses of plants, and a little winter ecology too.

We will meet at Powell Butte Nature Park, starting at the main visitor center/restrooms. Access that entrance by turning south at SE 162nd & Powell Boulevard. No registration necessary.

Dress for the weather! Trails may be slippery depending on weather conditions. We will meet rain or shine.
