Online Class: Herbal First Aid Mini-Class

This is part of a series of online offerings aimed at supporting community health in pandemic times. In this class, Missy will talk about weeds, kitchen spices, and common garden plants to use for everyday first aid. We’ll focus on the basics, from burns to bee stings to splinters.

This class will utilize the Zoom platform. To prepare, you can download the free Zoom app. If you’re new to Zoom, you may want to check out their support and training resources beforehand in order to ensure a smooth experience.

This community class is offered on a sliding scale of $5-$45. If you can afford to pay toward the top of the scale, please consider doing so to support the participation of low- and no-income folks. No one turned away for lack of funds. Grocery workers, hospital employees, public transit drivers, and others with limited opportunities to establish social distancing at work are invited to join for free.

For a more in-depth first aid class, plus a participatory plant medicine make-along, join Missy and co-instructor Natalie for Herbal First Aid: Three-Hour Virtual Class and Make-Along!

Start time is 12pm Pacific time. To receive the link to the class, participants must register before 11am Pacific time.
