Though these cold, wet days might not seem to be the best time to work with the plants, it is in fact the BEST time to work with a few of our premier medicinals. Gradey will guide us through the winter landscape to see how the plants can always reveal their stories if we have the right tools. On this short hike we will learn to identify trees and shrubs based on their twigs and buds as we discover more secrets of the season. We will also discuss medicinal uses, winter ecology, and ethical wildcrafting.
Class location TBD within the Portland Metro area. Cost is $35-$50, sliding scale. To keep things community based and covid-safe, class size is limited. Registration is required by February 21.
