Wait, wait, don’t just compost those “weeds”! Many of the plants that pop up uninvited have food and medicinal uses. In fact, lots of our common weeds were intentionally brought to this land to be used for healing or nutrition. In this class, Gradey will explore some of the most prolific weeds, learning to identify them, harvest them at the right time, and keep them around without letting them take over — the easiest kind of medicine! If your space is lacking some of these useful plants, we can talk about ways of introducing them, and gather some new friends to take home too. Lots of snacking will occur!
Class will be held outdoors on Gradey’s farm in Oregon City. To keep things community based and covid-safe, class size is limited.
Class cost is $35-$50, sliding scale. Registration is required by March 13.
