The cold, wet days of winter might not seem to be the optimal time to work with the plants, but it is in fact the best time to work with a few of our premier medicinals. Gradey will guide us through the winter landscape to see how the plants can always reveal their stories if we have the right tools. On this short hike, we will learn to identify trees and shrubs based on their twigs and buds as we discover more secrets of the season. We will also discuss medicinal uses, winter ecology, and ethical wildcrafting.
Class location TBD within the Portland Metro area. Class cost is $50-$35, sliding scale. Registration is required by February 10th.
