This workshop will explore the art of growing medicinal plants from seed, getting participants all set up to start a healing herbal garden of their own! Gradey will share tricks of the trade from his many years of growing plants at the Medicine Garden. We will cover the basics of saving and storing seed, techniques to help germination, and lots of ways to get your plant babies off to the right start. Whether you want to invest in some equipment or pull things off on the cheap, this class will empower you with the information you need to be a successful beginning seeder.
This workshop will be held at the Medicine Garden Nursery in SE Portland. Class size is limited.
Class cost is $75-$60, sliding scale, including all materials. Participants will get a deluxe gardener’s starter kit of medicinal plant seeds, soil, tags, and a starting tray planted out with dozens of plants! Registration is required by March 7th.
