Now that spring is officially here, it is the perfect time to meet the new blossoms in Northwest forests. On this short hike with Gradey Proctor, we will not only get to know some of our early bloomers, we will also introduce the botanical basics to keep you identifying plants in the future. We will spend our time learning the language of flowers, since that is the best tool to be 100% accurate with plant identification. And for those using plants as food or medicine, this skill is critical.
